We're so excited to introduce you all to our great friend, Venita Aspen. Venita, who you all may recognize from N&C photos, is taking the world by storm; model, entrepreneur and creative guru are just a few of the roles she plays. We have had the pleasure of working with Venita as a model, and we can tell you first hand, there's no better way to brighten up your day than a few hours with her. Venita is paving the way for brands, big and small, to hone their creative side through the Aspen Agency. Founded almost two years ago, she has worked with Eg Damgaard, Fair Sea Supply and Gold Toe Sock, just to name a few. A Charleston native, Venita can be found at the Harbinger Cafe or the Daily, kicking off her work day bright and early or enjoying a night on the town at Darling Oyster Bar. Venita, keep an eye out for us around town, we’re thinking relocating the N&C team to Charleston sounds pretty lovely.

Hey Y’all! My name is Venita Aspen. I’m a full time model, entrepreneur and good doer based in Charleston SC. I have a love for fashion, food, and all things charming. Hope to help you all learn a little bit more about me with my answers below! 
What sort of influence do your Charlestonian roots have on your life?
Im deeply rooted in having manners and I can def thank my southern charlestonian roots for that! Haha! How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as whimsical, girly (most days) and colorful!
Have you always wanted to become a model? If not, did you have other aspirations when you were growing up?
Yes, I’ve always wanted to be a model! I was really drawn to it because when I was growing up I didn’t really see people who looked like me in ads and I figured, hey I can do that, and just went for it!
Tell us about the Aspen Agency and what inspired you to create it.
The Aspen Agency is a creative production agency that allows smaller brands to have full fledge shoots at a rate that they can afford while still being able to pay the team their full day rate! What excites you the most about what you're building with the Aspen Agency?
What excites me the most is that I am building a space for smaller brands that allow them to have the beautiful content at a price that they can afford! 
Can you tell us about any future projects?
In the midst of everything else that I am doing. I am working a creating a safe place for differently abled individuals and I already know that this will be a project that I will forever be most proud of!

Can we look inside your bag right now?
My bag essentials would have to be my medicine in a stasher bag, my appointed notebooks + agenda, all of my favorite lepens from mac and murphy, my chanel card holder, makeup for touch ups a sunglass or two + mouthwash to freshen up during the day!
