How did you land in New York City?
I wanted to live in NYC ever since I visited for the first time at the age of 10. So as soon as I graduated high school, I moved to the Big Apple to attend LIM College, a small university here in Manhattan dedicated to the business side of fashion.
How has your personal style developed over the past few years?
It changes every year and every day. I'd say it's gotten a little more minimal and a lot more practical than when I first moved here.
What are your go-to wardrobe staples?
Currently, it's turtlenecks, vintage Levi's, berets, and oversized outerwear.
There must be tons of different product and brands that comes through the refinery29 offices, how much of it gets integrated into your personal style?
A good amount! Luckily my style aligns really closely with the R29 brand. I love discovering new brands on both a personal and professional level, and I do end up wearing the brands I cover on the site quite often.
Tips and tricks for women trying to make it work in New York? Or dreaming of coming here one day?
Save your money, be bold, stay true to you, work hard and be nice to people.
What was the first handbag you ever owned?
I think it was a quilted velvet Juicy Couture hobo bag. I thought I was so cool. LOL.
How many bags do you currently own?
More than I'd like to admit! I have this thing where I can't resist buying vintage minibags or basket bags whenever I see them at vintage shops or flea markets, so I've racked up a ton between that habit and other more practical, every day bags that I buy, too.
What makes a bag obsession worthy?
A bag is obsession worthy to me when it feels special, unique, and like no one else has it.
What’s the one item you always have in your bag?
Minty gum.
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever toted around for far too long?
A lip stain that's actually shaped like a mini bottle of wine.

I'm SUCH a millennial. I'm addicted, and it's the first thing I look at in the morning and the last thing I look at at night.

I really don't lie too much on social media! But, I guess I fib by omitting the non-glamorous parts of my life. Haha.
