A Year of Firsts
Earlier this season, Neely & Chloe celebrated its first official year in business. From breaking into new markets to being featured on Vogue.com (a real "pinch me" moment for us both!), we’ve been so humbled by the reaction to the product and all those who have engaged with the brand. With all that we've done in the past 12 months, we wanted to celebrate with friends and family for a fun night of drinks and mingling! While there's so much to look forward to as fashion entrepreneurs, there's truly no feeling more amazing than welcoming everyone into the space we’ve built to share in our success.
On a crisp September night, we transformed our Tribeca studio into the perfect party space. We displayed styles from our latest collection and adorned the office with a few fun life-size balloons (which we're still debating on keeping year round!). Once the decorations were complete, our guests enjoyed light bites (including a custom Neely & Chloe cake) and refreshing drinks courtesy of our friends at Union Wine Company. Laughter and music filled the space, and we were on cloud nine the entire evening.
As we wind down from the festivities and move full steam ahead into our second year, we are still learning so much every day and are glad to be surrounded by those more experienced than us so we can continue to grow efficiently. For us, the most exciting part of the journey has been to see the way people have responded to our more "adventurous" designs - like The Lady Bag and The Horse Hair Bucket Bag. Introducing these unique styles have allowed us to lean into our creative side - so be sure to keep an eye out for new designs coming your way soon!
On the other end of the spectrum, the launch of our first store and showroom have us looking forward to a few more chapters like this in the coming year. It’s always exciting to connect with a new city and be able to set up shop for our customers in a new area. We'll be sure to let you know what cities we'll be heading to next.
Looking back on it all so far, we feel so lucky to have a stable support system. From friends to collaborators to advisors, so many amazing people have listened and supported us through countless moments of stress and obstacles we've faced as new business owners. There's so much we have in store and always encourage feedback and suggestions from our community. We'll be sharing more of what we're planning here on Ampersand, but until then, thank you to all those who came out to celebrate with us. Cheers to a second year full of possibility! - Neely and Chloe Burch
